Diagnostic Imaging at SHN
Scarborough Health Network (SHN) provides Diagnostic Imaging (DI) across our three hospitals. We offer a wide range of diagnostic and therapeutic services to support inpatient and emergency programs, as well as referrals from outpatient clinics at the hospital and in the community.
As a support service, the DI department plays a vital role in providing timely and accurate investigations/interventions to assist physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of disease. The department works collaboratively with all clinical programs to ensure the best outcomes for the patients we collectively serve.
Our team consists of highly trained and certified technologists, focused on providing a respectful, professional, and excellent patient care experience. The DI department is a teaching facility affiliated with The Michener Institute of Education at UHN; McMaster University/Mohawk College; Northern Alberta Institute of Technology; Algonquin College; Cambrian College; and Fanshawe College.
