Getting started at SHN

Explore current job opportunities. You can use the system to search by location, time type, job category, or keywords. Find a posting you are interested in and click on “Apply”. From there, you will be taken through steps to create your Workday profile as part of your initial application.

  • A member of our talent team will review and share your resume with the hiring manager
  • If you are selected for an interview, you will be contacted by a member of our Talent Acquisition team to book you in for an interview.
  • Our interviews are typically virtual through MS Teams and some will be in person at one of our hospitals.
  • Once selected for the job, we complete reference and background checks .
  • As part of onboarding, you will be required to complete the medical questionnaire confirming your immunization records.
  • Once you start you will join our New Hospital Orientation and all nursing staff will also attend Professional Practice Orientation.
  • Leaders will be enrolled in leadership orientation.

Once you have applied to a role, you will receive a confirmation notification of job application to your email. If you do not receive this confirmation, please check your junk mail. You can also view the job application statuses online by clicking on “Candidate Home” button at the top right corner once you are signed into Workday. On the Candidate Home page under “My applications” section, you can view the status updates on each of your job applications. You can also withdraw your job application here at any time.
