Child and Adolescent Mental Health

SHN has a comprehensive mental health program for children and adolescents. The program is designed to provide integrated and seamless services to children and adolescents with significant mental health problems.

The Shoniker Clinic is a child and adolescent mental health clinic that specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of significant mental health problems. The clinic accepts physician referrals for youth under the age of 19 who reside in Scarborough, Pickering or Ajax. An interdisciplinary team provides assessments, individual and family therapy, parent education, group therapy and medication management.
