Care Reimagined
In February, Scarborough Health Network (SHN) released our new Strategic Plan 2024-2029 using an easy-to-read, plan-on-a-page format. Now, a new, more detailed version is available in a booklet format on SHN.ca.
In addition to the vision, mission, values, and strategic directions that appear on the plan-on-a-page, the booklet highlights the commitments under each strategic direction, along with five stories featuring our people to help bring each strategic direction to life.
Developed in partnership with those who work, live, and receive care here in Scarborough – SHN is taking a bold, visionary approach in the healthcare sector that is grounded in the needs of our community.
Our five-year plan aligns closely with SHN Foundation’s new Strategic Plan 2024-2029. The Love, Scarborough fundraising campaign is essential to how our health network and community will advance into the future. Working together, we will Build It Forward for Scarborough, investing in new buildings and facilities, new technology, and state-of-the-art equipment, and forge transformative relationships with partners and donors.
Speaking of SHN Foundation, the second annual SHN Zoo Day is now open for registration. I invite you to join us for a walk on the wild side at the Toronto Zoo, and help raise critical funds through Love, Scarborough, for your Scarborough hospitals.
