Kids After Hours Clinic is able to help look after all our patients with new medical problems. However, our urgent care clinic setting is not able to assist patients if:

  • They are very unwell and require emergency room care (i.e. breathing too fast, dehydration, having seizures)
  • They have any significant injury (i.e. head injury, cuts or possible fractures)
  • They have mental health problems (i.e. anxiety, depression, learning problems, childhood behaviour issues, suspected autism)
  • They have long-standing medical problems (i.e. chronic constipation, poor eating habits, complex medical problems)

The nurses will make an initial assessment and may direct you to the emergency department or redirect you to seek help from your regular primary care provider.

  • When you get to the hospital, please proceed directly to the Kids After Hours Clinic on in the Kids Care unit on the 1st floor of the Crockford Wing for check in and registration.
