National Volunteer Week provides us with an opportunity to recognize and celebrate every volunteer and each contribution they are making to strengthen inclusivity and well-being in our communities. Now more than ever, Every Moment Matters!

This week, we celebrate National Volunteer Week 2024 and its theme, “Every Moment Matters.” This theme highlights the importance of every volunteer and each contribution they make at a moment when we need support more than ever. The sharing of time, skills, empathy, and creativity is vital to the inclusivity, strength, and well-being of our communities.

Here at SHN, our 700+ volunteers are vital to meeting this challenging moment. By coming together, committing support, and increasing our collective efforts and impact, volunteers contribute exponentially to the quality of life we all strive for. By connecting and engaging with our community, we come to realize our impact. Volunteering matters, and by sharing these moments, we co-create the neighborhoods, culture, and society we want to live in.

This National Volunteer Week 2024, we come together to recognize our volunteers and celebrate their impact on our communities. In particular, the pivotal role they play in supporting our mission of improving lives through exceptional care. On behalf of all our staff, professional staff, learners, and the entire SHN community, thank you for your contributions and extraordinary efforts.

“Thank you for your dedication and service to our community. Your contributions have been invaluable in enhancing patient care and supporting our mission at Scarborough Health Network. We are deeply appreciative of your generosity and spirit of volunteerism.”
