Scarborough and Rouge Hospital (SRH) has received new funding from the provincial government, an increase of 4.6 per cent.
“We are truly grateful for this investment from our government partners, which will go a long way towards helping us to meet the ever growing health care needs of our patients and their families,” said Elizabeth Buller, President and CEO of SRH.
SRH will use the funds to invest in patient care initiatives that will help reduce wait times and increase Scarborough residents’ access to excellent acute hospital care, close to home .
SRH welcomes the government’s commitment to improving the health and wellness of people in Scarborough.
“This generous investment, and the recent commitments to support redeveloping our Centenary site’s Emergency department and expand our dialysis serice though the Bridletown Neighbourhood Centre, will help us continue to deliver high quality care for generations to come,” Ms. Buller said.
