May 1 is Doctors’ Day, and Scarborough Health Network (SHN) is excited to recognize and show our physicians love on their special day!
This annual celebration started over a decade ago by the Ontario Medical Association (OMA), which represents the province’s 43,000 physicians, medical students, and retired physicians by advocating for their personal and professional well-being. Through campaigns like Doctors’ Day, the OMA and all participating institutions get to celebrate the leading expertise of physicians in caring for patients and their trusted voice in transforming Ontario’s healthcare system.
On Doctors’ Day, we ask you to thank the physicians in your life. If you would like to specifically show your appreciation or highlight something our SHN doctors have done, we welcome you to send thank you notes through the Foundation’s Honour an SHN Superstar! program. Share your gratitude by making a donation to the hospital in honour of a physician.
