Over the last three years, Scarborough Health Network (SHN) and our Scarborough Ontario Health Team (SOHT) partners have worked together to respond to COVID-19 and deliver dedicated services and support to our community — which was one of the hardest hit by the pandemic. It has been our privilege to care for patients, clients, families, loved ones and colleagues from across Scarborough, and collaborate in keeping our community safe, protected and healthy.
Now with shifts in the pandemic, there has been decreased demand for COVID-19 services. As health systems move forward, SHN and our SOHT partners are aligned with hospitals and healthcare providers across the province in rededicating our people and resources to other priority services and more regular operations and care. As part of this effort and larger provincial direction, we would like to share the following important information about changes.
