Opening the new Northpine Diagnostic Imaging Department
Last month, we celebrated a significant milestone for Scarborough with the opening of the Northpine Diagnostic Imaging Department at General Hospital. This state-of-the-art facility is already making a major impact on SHN’s delivery of high-quality health care in our community.
It takes a collective effort to create meaningful change, and many SHN departments and staff dedicated themselves to making this project a success—but the Northpine Diagnostic Imaging Department would not be a reality without the support of generous donors like the Northpine Foundation, community partners, and the backing of our provincial government. I am grateful for their contributions, which have played a crucial role in modernizing and expanding our infrastructure.
This is more than just a new facility; it is a symbol of our shared commitment to shaping the future of care and creating a lasting impact that will benefit generations to come. And it is just one of the many ways we continue to Build It Forward in support of world-class health care, right here in Scarborough. My thanks once again go out to all those who helped build one of the most modern diagnostic imaging departments in the city. You have accelerated our commitment to excellence and exceptional quality care.
