Your Voice Matters
At SHN, we know that the best care comes from listening to the people we serve. That is why we are inviting members of our community to apply to join our Community Advisory Council (CAC).
This is an opportunity to work directly with SHN leaders to improve how we deliver care. The CAC provides important feedback that helps shape our programs and services to better reflect the needs of Scarborough.
For example, CAC members have raised ideas to improve SHN’s wayfinding experience. Their feedback played a key role in shaping our recent wayfinding initiative, which has significantly improved the patient experience across our hospitals. The result is clearer, more consistent signage that is accessible, easy to understand, and designed to meet the needs of our diverse community.
That is the kind of impact community voices can have.
The CAC helps guide our decisions—from improving patient access, to shaping how we design services and deliver care across all our sites. If you are interested in making a difference, I encourage you to apply by July 11.
