Richard Wong is a professional engineer and retired executive, with extensive business, financial management, and large capital projects experience. He has served as the director of planning and evaluation, as well as the assistant treasurer at Ontario Power Generation prior to retirement; responsible for large capital investment planning, treasury operations, and corporate/project financing.
Since retirement, Richard has been volunteering as an advisor at the MaRS Discovery District, as well as the Canadian Executive Services Organization. He is also an active participant in many charity events across Toronto.
Richard earned his Bachelor degree in electrical engineering from the University of Toronto, and an MBA from the University of Toronto’s Rotman School of Management.
