  • MyChart email invitation to eCheck-In: Coming for an appointment? If you have consented to email communication from SHN and do not already have a MyChart account, you will receive an email from MyChart to eCheck-in and create a MyChart account. eCheck-In can be used within 24 hours of your appointment to:
    • Verify your registration information (e.g. address, phone number, emergency contact, family physician, health card version code/expiry date)
    • Complete your Communicable Disease (COVID) screening 
    • Complete any other pre-visit questionnaires associated with your appointment
  • Health Equity Questionnaire: Participate in SHN’s Health Equity Questionnaire to share valuable insights that help improve the programs and services we provide.
  • Shared access for parents or caregivers: Establish shared access with another MyChart account (including children and other family members) to easily manage your loved one’s healthcare, from vaccination records to test results, all from one secure tool.
  • Link My Accounts: Use this feature to access your medical records from other participating hospitals in Ontario.
  • Virtual visits: MyChart virtual visits offers a convenient way for you to consult with your healthcare provider from home, if they offer this service.

Visit mychart.ourepic.ca to create your account, or ask a hospital staff member for help with enrollment during your next visit—they can send you an email or text with a link to complete the process.
