Scarborough Health Network, Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre, Michael Garron Hospital, and North York General Hospital are partnering to improve critical care nursing capacity within our region, by creating a pool of Intensive Care/Critical Care Nurses called the Multi-hospital Critical Care Resource Team (MCCRT).

SHN first announced being part of the MCCRT pilot project in November of 2022. The partnership brought together nurses across the partner hospitals to receive training and orientation to work in critical care units. The goal through MCCRT was to advance each hospital’s critical care capacity and ability to aid our community with trained nurse professionals. And now, we are looking for more people to join MCCRT!

These unique positions are for Registered Nurses looking to grow in their career and expand their knowledge in a highly supportive environment.

As a member of this partnership, each successful candidate will be hired into a hospital site, and have the ability to work at all four hospitals based on business needs and patient volumes.
