COVID-19 Vaccine Information

Vaccines that have been approved by Health Canada are a safe and effective tool for protecting you and your families from COVID-19. Vaccines work with your immune system so your body will be ready to fight the virus if you are exposed. This can reduce your risk of developing COVID-19 and make your symptoms milder if you do get it.

General Rick Hillier tours SHN Vaccine Clinic operations

We were tremendously privileged to host the head of Ontario’s COVID-19 Vaccine Distribution Task Force, General Rick Hillier, at our Centenary hospital where he toured our vaccination facilities and provided inspiration to the many people he took time out to speak with.

Stay safe

Continue to follow these recommendations from Toronto Public Health to prevent the spread of COVID-19, even after getting COVID-19 vaccinated:

  • Practice physical distancing (keep 6 feet or 2 metres from others).
  • Keep mask on when in the community.
  • Limit/avoid contact with others outside of your household.
  • If you are experiencing symptoms of COVID-19, please do not visit a Vaccine Clinic.
