Scarborough and Rouge Hospital previews inaugural strategic plan at 2018 AGM

SCARBOROUGH (July 4, 2018) – Government officials, health partner organizations, donors, and community members joined Scarborough and Rouge Hospital (SRH) staff, physicians, and volunteers to celebrate an unforgettable year and preview the organization’s inaugural strategic plan at SRH’s 2018 Annual General Meeting (AGM) on June 28.

Rapid Access Addiction Medicine Clinic now open in Scarborough

Barrier-free access to medical treatment for addiction and same-day counselling at Scarborough and Rouge Hospital

A Rapid Access Addiction Medicine (RAAM) Clinic is now open at the General site of Scarborough and Rouge Hospital (SRH), offering immediate help in the treatment of alcohol, opioid, or other drug-related addictions. Care is provided on a walk-in basis without an appointment or physician referral.

Fairchild Radio – Live at SRH, June 14

Photo above:  In 2015, Fairchild Radio broadcasted live from SRH’s General site and raised more than $100,000 for urgently needed medical equipment. They hope to exceed expectations this year by raising $150,000 for kidney care in Scarborough.

Scarborough and Rouge Hospital (SRH) is proud to announce that Fairchild Radio will return to SRH’s General site to host a live fundraising radiothon on June 14 from 7 a.m.

Dr. Yehuda Nofech-Mozes, Paediatrics Education Lead at Scarborough and Rouge Hospital’s (SRH) Centenary site, has received a Peters-Boyd Academy award from the University of Toronto (U of T) for his work as a clerk supervisor of medical students.
