SCARBOROUGH (July 4, 2018) – Government officials, health partner organizations, donors, and community members joined Scarborough and Rouge Hospital (SRH) staff, physicians, and volunteers to celebrate an unforgettable year and preview the organization’s inaugural strategic plan at SRH’s 2018 Annual General Meeting (AGM) on June 28.

Barrier-free access to medical treatment for addiction and same-day counselling at Scarborough and Rouge Hospital
A Rapid Access Addiction Medicine (RAAM) Clinic is now open at the General site of Scarborough and Rouge Hospital (SRH), offering immediate help in the treatment of alcohol, opioid, or other drug-related addictions. Care is provided on a walk-in basis without an appointment or physician referral.

Dr. Yehuda Nofech-Mozes, Paediatrics Education Lead at Scarborough and Rouge Hospital’s (SRH) Centenary site, has received a Peters-Boyd Academy award from the University of Toronto (U of T) for his work as a clerk supervisor of medical students.
